Berry Lips For Christmas

Hey lovelies...Who always loves wearing a berry lip during christmas?? As much as I love wearing a berry lip I feel like christmas time makes it much more appropriate. I watched quite a few christmas makeup tutorials as most of them threw in a wine red or berry shade for their lip choice. This inspired me to look through what I currently have in my collection and choose those shades that feel much more festive to me. Here's a round up of berry lip shades I love wearing throughout the festive season...enjoy xo

If your on budget for christmas and don't want to spend too much on a bold lip Loreal have a lipstick I am in love with. In a gold packaging which is lovely for christmas I have the shade 430 Mon Jules. This lipstick is from the Loreal Gold Obsession line and it is stunning. They normally retail for around £6.99 depending on where you pick it up. I picked mine up online but you can take a look at some Loreal lipsticks at Superdrug here ;)

Another drugstore lipstick I love for this time of the year is from Rimmel who collaborated with Kate Moss. The packaging is a black and festive red with Kate's name wrote on the lid. It's a lasting finish matte lipstick in the shade 107. It has a ruby power enriched formula to intensify the colour and keep it more matte. I love this shade and I think it has a touch more red to it than berry but I wanted to include it in this post as it screams christmas to me. Such a stunning shade guys...

I don't always wear a bold lip during the day and if your looking for something a little lighter and something to soften and protect the lips than try this lip balm from Tanya Burr Cosmetics. Tanya released these lip balms during the summer and I adore the packaging, its name and the quality of the product. It's called Blackberry Coulis. It has a blackberry scent and blackberry tint to it so makes it a great lip balm to use during this time of the year. Tanya brought these out as part of her Chasing The Sun collection this year. You can pick them up from Superdrug for £4.99 guys....

What stood out the most to me when I was planning this post was the Kylie Cosmetics Holiday Edition products from Christmas 2016. I absolutely loved this collection and it has to be one of my favourites she has released. The packaging is absolutely stunning and yes I still do have the packaging these products came in. I can't bear to part with it just yet.  I chose 3 products from her line, a metal lipstick, a gloss and a liquid lipstick lipkit. The lipkit I have is in the shade Vixen. OMG you guys this shade is absolutely stunning, it's the shade you can see in the top left of the above photo. Kylie's lipkits always come with a lipliner too in the same shade. I wasn't too sure at first as this colour is very very bold but it looks lovely on especially during the winter. Another shade I love from Kylie's line is the gloss in the colour Jolly. Jolly is the gloss in the bottom right of the picture above. This looks stunning when you pair it over a berry lip shade or even on its own. Lastly if you love the metal lipstick trend the shade Dancer is a lovely choice too again the metal lipstick is the one in the top middle...I'm not too sure if you can still pick up these shades but if there available I've added the links guys...

Of course I had to save the best until last and the shade I have been wearing the most in the run up to christmas is the shade Glastonberry from Charlotte Tilbury. I absolutely adore this shade. I didn't think it would suit me but it looks gorgeous when you pair it with a gold eye. Charlotte's lipsticks are so creamy and comfortable to wear and I have seen so many makeup tutorials where youtubers use Glastonberry as their lip choice. It's stunning and i would definitely recommend this if your looking for the perfect berry lip this christmas...

Hope this gives you some inspiration for your christmas lip choice. I love wearing these shades for christmas, what are your favourite berry lip shades???
